Frequently asked questions

Which time formats can I enter?

Try ISO 8601, Unix seconds or milliseconds, common date formats and supported relative phrases. Not every expression is supported; confirm any requested unit or date order.

Why do I need to choose a timezone?

A date without a timezone may describe different instants. Confirm its source timezone first. Changing the display timezone keeps the instant fixed; daylight-saving changes can make a local clock time missing or repeated.

Does a shared relative time change later?

No. Relative input is resolved against the parsing time. Sharing fixes the resulting instant; recipients see it in their selected timezone. The countdown or elapsed counter continues to update.

Is my input private?

Parsing runs in your browser, but the site uses Google Analytics. A shared URL contains its time and optional title and is sent to the host when opened. Do not treat a shared link as private storage; read the privacy page for details.
